		<description>As a scanner Snow Leopard detects this printer automatically. I guess I&#039;m going to have to go through this pain again to get it installed on my Macbook Pro.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;At work we have an Epson CX11NF and that installed like a charm without needing any driver disks. OS X just ran off and found the drivers itself. Shame it can&#039;t do the same with this Canon printer ...</description>

		<description>i know i&#039;m digging this up from the grave, but i feel the same way. i&#039;m on windows though, i could not get this thing setup without using their stupid software, ended up running all their software, getting the printer setup and then uninstalling all of their crap except for the drivers... worked for me and i don&#039;t have all of their crap on my hard drive.</description>
